This is true in every essence of the word. It is easier to prevent the danger that has yet to come than to repair the damage to our physiology later. This is the vantage point from which Maharishi Ayurveda comes from. It is a consciousness-based, holistic, and prevention-oriented approach to health . It promotes longevity by bringing balance to our life through behavior, routine, diet, and our environment which results in a state of homeostasis in our physiology and our minds. The outcome is a state of balance, optimum function, more and more perfect health and a fulfilling life.

The 2 main focus of Maharishi Ayurveda is Health Maintenance and Prevention. Based on a “Whole Person” approach using Ayurvedic Science, I can create a customized plan for you that includes simple diet and lifestyle changes to meet the demands of your daily life to ensure success in achieving your health, wellness, and fitness goals.

Digestion

“There’s no one size fits all”

One of the main core concepts of Ayurveda is “Gut Health”. 80% of disorders have been attributed to improper digestive function. There are countless of modern scientific studies and research on the “Gut-Brain Axis” proving the validity and efficacy of Ayurvedic Science and its concept on the importance of Digestion.

We are not created equal. From an Ayurvedic standpoint, we all have individual levels of digestive strength, therefore our focus is on designing a customized plan based on each individual body-type constitution and digestive strength.

BALANCE

“The body can heal itself”

While this is true, as the owner and caretaker of our vessel, we are responsible for for what goes in both in our minds and our bodies. Ensuring our body maintains a state of balance is essential and critical to its optimum functioning.

By restoring homeostasis to our physiology, our cells, organs, and organ systems can function at its peak performance, allowing our bodies to heal itself.

The main principle of Ayurveda is to restore balance in our physiology so that our bodies can be whole again.
